For 8+ years, Reda and I have run Kauai Pottery and Handmade Arts, making island-style jewelry and pottery while showcasing work from other Kauai artists. Our shop is our only source of income.

Hurricane Lowell damaged a large part of the kiln we use to fire our ceramics. As we cleaned up after the outage, we also learned that visitor arrivals had nearly stopped, causing an 80% drop in shop income. That pause may last 2–3 months.

We’re raising money to replace the kiln, kiln shelves and posts, cover electrical work, buy clay and glazes, and keep our shop open while Kauai recovers. We’re grateful to everyone who helps us keep creating and supporting local artists. ❤️

If you’d like to help rebuild our workspace, please visit our GoFundMe page to donate or share it with someone who loves Kauai art.
