Our divers came back with a fresh load of Tako, still changing color!!! Fishermen call fresh octopus that are still changing color “Blinky Tako”. These octopus are caught locally right here in Hawaii by Hele Mai Fishing Supply and handled in a special way as to keep changing color for up to 48 hours after capture. Still changing color this “Blinky Tako” simulates the look and feel of a “live” Tako and drives bone crunching strikes from all types of predatory fish. Here at Hele Mai Fishing Supply we keep our gills wet to get our customers fresh “Blinky Tako” as we know the best Fresh Bait and hustle is the key to consistently catching!!!
