Been in the zone past week working on this new painting 😇

Btw, I LOVE shopping from vintage stores, resale shops, Goodwill...I find such treasures that become the canvas of new possibilities. This one has been extra fun and challenging, since I decided to use the elements of this printed art work rather than painting over it 👯

One of the reasons I absolutely LOVE creating, crafting, making stuff is that everything becomes a canvas of possibilities…it expands curiosity, fuels imagination and the joy I get out of creating something out of nothing is limitless.

Today I was not feeling called to make anything specific so as I sat on my desk, I decided to grab the cardboard of my used journal and doodle on it. I love how it turned out!
There’s a lot that can be done with bunch of sharpies and a piece of board, isn’t it. On top (in 2nd photo) is the piece of denim I cut out of my old jeans…it might be added to a jacket in the future…let’s see 🙂
