This afternoon, I was cutting seasoned maple that will be eventually carved into violin and viola bridges. It takes years of drying before it can be used, then the fun part of sawing it into small sizes (from very large chunks), to further stabilize. Pieces that can't be used for bridges then get further chopped up, to be used later as plugs in violin bow rehairs!

Getting ready for the fall season!! Please excuse our dust and chaos! While we work on unpacking and inventory that just arrived, we would ask all non-emergency repairs to please wait until July 15th to come in. Thank you!!!
