Is it really only Day 2?! 🤯

The trailer is filling up fast, and let’s just say… it’s shaping up to be one heck of a haul! I didn’t manage to snap photos of everything today (we were a little too busy buying all the good stuff 😅), but I’ve got enough sneak peeks to keep y’all guessing and excited.

Well… we’re wrapping up our first (and only!) day of the Central Iowa Junk Jaunt, and let me tell you—it did NOT disappoint!

From amazing antiques to quirky treasures and everything in between, today was a treasure hunter’s dream. Y’all take a look at all the goodies we found and get ready for even more tomorrow as we roll into Walnut, Iowa for their famous annual antique show!

We’re officially gone pickin’! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be crisscrossing 5 states in search of the unique, the unusual, the incredible… and yes, the downright weird. If it’s rusty, crusty, quirky, primitive, or makes us say, “Well, that’s coming home with us,” it’s fair game!

By the end of the month, we plan to roll back into Texas with a trailer packed tighter than a sardine can and loaded with treasures.

Follow along for daily updates, roadside adventures, questionable purchases, and all the amazing finds we uncover along the way. You never know what we’ll drag home next! 👀

We gave the booth inside Kaufman’s Mercantile on Grove a little refresh today and tucked in some fresh treasures!

A gorgeous primitive pie safe has moved in, an old screen door found a temporary home, and we sprinkled in lots of cute new smalls for you to discover. If it’s been a while since you’ve stopped by, now’s the perfect time for a visit!

And don’t get too comfortable—we’re hitting the road Thursday for a five-state pickin’ adventure in search of more weird, unusual, one-of-a-kind treasures to bring back to Texas. You never know what we’ll find, but we guarantee it won’t be boring! 🚚🗺️

Today we added a fun new treasure to our booth at Kaufman’s Mercantile on Grove.
This 1940s-era Coolerator Ice Box is packed with vintage charm and character. While it could still serve its original purpose, we think the real fun is imagining all the creative ways it could be repurposed. A coffee bar? Kitchen storage? A unique entryway statement piece? Patio ice box or pool towel storage? The possibilities are endless, and the only limit is your imagination! This is one of those pieces that gets people talking—stop by and see it in person!

We are beyond grateful for the amazing customers who continue to support our little business. Thanks to you, treasures keep finding new homes, which means it's time for us to roll up our sleeves and restock the booth inside Kaufman’s Mercantile on Grove once again!
