Like many of you, Tom and I have been looking for ways to help our neighbors after the recent tornado. We volunteered when we’re able, and it’s really opened our eyes to how quickly needs can change in these kinds of situations.
At the same time, we’ve also witnessed something pretty incredible. The kindness, generosity, and support flowing throughout the Fox Valley has been next level!! Watching neighbors, businesses, organizations, and complete strangers come together for one another has been nothing short of amazing and heartwarming, and it’s reminded us just how special this community really is.
We don’t have all the answers (boy, do I wish we did!), and we certainly are not a nonprofit or relief organization. We’re just a family with a small business that truly believes in this community and wants to do what we can to help.
We’re looking for ways SolRising can become a place where our community can come together to help. Whether that’s collecting needed items, supporting local organizations, or finding other ways to serve, our goal is to help where it makes the most sense and where it’s needed most.
