Acoustic guitar manufacturing as well as Purflex® manufacture, sales and distribution. We are a father and son custom acoustic guitar shop. We use traditional and modern methods of construction and use only master grade quality woods throughout. We do not use any CNC equipment but are now incorporating some innovative laser techniques for much of our intricate inlays and other appointments. Our main emphasis is on tone and playability, but can't resist creating objects of lasting beauty as well.

Destroyed with a puff of air.

Just sold this and I was getting ready to take a couple of quick pictures. I chamfered the endpin hole and was going to seal the edges with a little CA glue, but first needed to blow off the dust. The sound hole and side port were all sealed from within for the finish process. With no place for the air to escape and with a loud “POP” the top half blew off. 🥺

After many years of installing Purflex purfling on our instruments with the techniques we have previously shown, we have developed a new way to do it using super glue and ebony dust. It is easier, faster and does not shrink or expand with the heat of buffing or with temperature and humidity changes over the years.
