: Destination Downtown x Night Market 🌛 is taking over Downtown Kearney TONIGHT! ☀️🎶🛍️

We’re excited for an evening filled with live music, local vendors, great food and plenty of downtown fun! With extreme heat in the forecast, please plan ahead, bring water and take breaks throughout the evening. Our vendors will also have plenty of refreshing drinks and cool treats available for purchase!

Please note: Due to the heat, B.J. Jamison Music will now begin performing at 5:30 p.m.

These colorful installations are thanks to our local Kearney for People Oriented Places volunteers and are made possible through the creativity of local artists and The Bricks Creative District!

Who knew yarn could make such a statement? 🧶💛

Our Creative District is getting wrapped up in creativity, thanks to the knitters, crocheters, students and community members bringing this colorful project to life.

Colorful yarn designs will decorate trees, bicycle racks and benches. It's called yarn-bombing. Yarn is being collected for the project at three downtown sites. ⤵️ Find a link to the story in the comments.
