Join our meetings on 2nd Thursday of each month, September through May, to gain a wealth of knowledge from guest speakers and to share a passion for plants with fellow gardeners.

Many thanks to Carol Clark Montgomery, the Director of Clark Gardens, who taught us so much about the magical Monarch Butterfly! What an amazing natural wonder they are! And we now know how to support them during their long journey that passes through Texas twice each year!

We will kick off a new season of the Keller Garden Club this Thursday, Sept. 10 in our usual location, Room 212 of Keller Town Hall. The social half hour starts at 9:30 followed by our meeting. This month our guest speaker is Carol Clark Montgomery who will share about The Magical Migration of Monarchs. As we welcome our gardeners back and welcome first time visitors, we will learn how to make our gardens more welcoming to these beautiful, pollinating travelers!

We beat the heat as best we could with an early start at the Pollinator Garden. Some were earlier than others but any help is appreciated when it’s August! The garden is looking great after we did some w**ding and trimming!

We had a good crowd at Grutogi Bistro for some coffee, tea, and breakfast! Regular meetings start next month, so goodbye Brews and Blooms until next summer!

Brews and Blooms is this Thursday, August 13th at 9:30am at Grutogi Bistro,110 Lamar St. in Keller. All are welcome to come have coffee, talk about gardening, and socialize!

After hearing about Jim Marshall’s Bluebird Project, a few of us in KGC decided to try our luck and put up bluebird houses in our own backyards—equal parts optimism, hope, and a little “we’ll see what happens.”

Fast forward to today… and Leigh Coe Allen discovered she’s officially hosting a bluebird family! 🐦💙

A small thing on the surface, but anyone who loves the outdoors knows it’s actually a pretty big win. It takes the right habitat, a bit of patience, and maybe a touch of garden magic (and possibly some good advice from Jim Marshall along the way).

Moments like this are what make all the effort worth it—watching nature move in and decide your backyard is home. Pretty hard to top that.

We had good food and good company at Brews and Blooms, our summertime social meet-ups! We will do it again in July and August…join us if you can!

We tackled trimming iron w**d and goldenrod. Rain has the flowers bursting with colors and we so appreciated all the love shared from local walkers.
