Go Kennebunks

This year the Town of Kennebunkport has pulled their reimbursement funding to the Chamber of Commerce for bus greeters.

We believe it is essential to have a tourism employee greeting and assisting our Bus Guests arriving in the Kennebunks.

All guests visiting the Kenneebunks deserve a trained tourism employee ready to assist with warmth & welcome.

Help us Support our Business Community Keeping Bus Tourism Strong in the Kennebunks.

Help spread the word please!

To be clear we our doing this on our own. No one asked us to do this. There was no meeting. The press is not being called in.

Now in our 23rd year of business … we believe strongly in our community…including our business community.. doing a couple things to try to help support our community is what this is.

We will also have select artwork from local artists-
100% of the sale of these select items will be donated.

The Board of Directors of the Kennebunkport Business Association is deeply grateful that Vote C was approved in support of Christmas Prelude. This result demonstrates that our community recognizes the importance of this cherished event and is willing to invest in its continued success. Christmas Prelude brings people together, strengthens our local economy, showcases the very best of Kennebunkport, and helps support the many nonprofit organizations that contribute so much to our community throughout the year.

We thank everyone for the strong vote of confidence in Christmas Prelude, our local nonprofits, and the traditions that make Kennebunkport such a special place to live, work, and visit.

We look forward to working with the Board of Selectmen on the next steps.

We would like to thank our neighbors for thoughtfully sharing their Kennebunkport’s Christmas Prelude experience and concerns for the upcoming
Vote C to Save Kennebunkport Prelude.
We deeply feel every word of their message.

For us personally ( my first time attending Prelude was 1986!) and for our business (23rd season now!) Prelude isn’t just an event.

Every year (44 years strong!) countless volunteers decorate, plan, execute behind the scenes to bring the magic and spirit to Kennebunkport. For our many local residents who attend yearly as well as the many visitors who return every year. Many of you - we have watched your children grow up and now they bring their children. We absolutely love seeing you all each year! We laugh we share and we truly feel the magic being together during this time. Prelude brings us all together- local residents, visitors, our business community.

There is no feeling that can describe the smiles on all of your faces each year. The joy and fun you experience and pass onto us is heartwarming. We know you feel the same ❤️

Our nonprofit organizations work tirelessly supporting Prelude and we are thankful for the amazing, supportive, compassionate kindness they offer to everyone in our community in a time of need or may it be just knowing they are there for everyone.

We share our business neighbors concerns- Prelude truly does make a difference to our little business - to be able to stay open year round- support our local employee team members and be there for our local community and visitors.

As our Kennebunkport residents head to the polls next week we are asking you to vote C to help all of us keep the magic of Prelude going for years to come.

We know it’s a bit of a surprise seeing our beloved buoy tree on our feed this time of year, but we’re sharing it because The Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude needs your support to continue thriving.🦞 We are urging our Kennebunkport neighbors to Vote C on question 2 on June 9th to preserve town support for our cherished 44-year holiday tradition.🎄
Christmas Prelude is a meaningful tradition for us that brings our family and community together. On top of that, for Daytrip Society and Daytrip Jr., Christmas Prelude is what allows us to keep our doors open for our community year-round.
