I had never seen these before lucking up at the thrift and oh my word did these send me down an eBay rabbit hole LOL. They’re all so cute!!

I thought they were beanie babies at first but they’re belly beans! A Girl Scout collab with Mary Meyer that came out in the mid 90s 💞

Now with a star clip they’re perfect little bag buddies ⭐️ available on Depop & Vinted and 1 of 1 (until maybe one day the thrift gods bless me again)

crochet hangers!! maybe they never left but it’s rare for me to see a collection of crochet hangers outside of an estate sale or antique mall! we have a bunch of metal hangers from the dry cleaners hoarding up so I’d love to (slowly) convert them all 💞

it’s nice they still don’t take up much space but this makes them non-slip and cutesy 🌈 also a good way to use up scrap yarn since it doesn’t take much!

new way to make patches for thrifted clothes unlockedddd 🪄 which design would you pick?

after a drop I always need a good reset. I usually let myself be messy for the sake of focusing my energy on creating, and then once the pieces are done I strongly crave a clear surface and for the clutter to have a home to go back to 👋🏼 like seriously get out of my face, thanks.

now I feel like I can look at everything pleasantly instead of with annoyance 😂 soooo, perfect time to cook up some new ideas and begin the mess again! (but maybe with a quicker reset time now that everything has a place 🙏🏻)

Creating is so special and magical and I want sharing the pieces to feel the same but if I’m honest, it kinda stresses me out 🙈

It seems like the closer I get to a drop and putting my stuff out there, the more questions and doubts come up. Did I share my process enough? Are people going to like this? Will I make enough to cover bills?? It’s a lot!

I’m proud of myself for creating despite the feelings that imposter syndrome can bring up. But I won’t lie and say those thoughts are easy to ignore sometimes!!

Anyways, yeah, it can be hard to separate your creativity from the need to earn an income, but I also think it’s a good mental challenge and a natural part of making this my job 😊

It can feel vulnerable to put ourselves out there, especially when our work is so meaningful to us, but it’s the only way we get to find amazing new friends & customers who have been waiting for just that thing.

So cheers to learning to create with a healthy balance of non-attachment and investment in our work 💫
