As a child, that wasn't by choice (thanks, Mom!) but as a teenager my thrift store finds fit in perfectly with my eclectic wardrobe. I rocked it in baby doll dresses and thigh high stockings, romantic floral maxi dresses and ankle boots. But my favorite era has definitely been the most recent decade because, really, anything goes. Pairing one or two vintage pieces with an otherwise modern outfit looks amazing and, most importantly, unique! Walk through the mall and what's in every window? Vintage inspired. Why wear vintage inspired when you can have the real thing? My motto is "you're one of a kind... wear one of a kind"...
I offer vintage pieces that span the last hundred years of fashion. I don't specialize in a certain era because I find something appealing about EVERY era and I want to offer my clients a well rounded selection. If I do “specialize” in anything it would be vintage lingerie, nightgowns and peignoir sets. To me, vintage intimates are the wardrobe staple of a vintage girl. Wearing a t-shirt to bed is cute. Wearing a fitted sweeping nightgown with a plunging neckline pretty much guarantees that your nightie will be in a pile on the floor within a few minutes of entering the bedroom and, honestly, isn't that kind of the point? :) Vintage lingerie was made to fit real women. You don't have to weigh 85 pounds to look incredible in an Olga nightgown – the curvier the better! I am currently a one-woman operation and handle every aspect of my business. SakuraVintage.com

When you buy from a small mom or pop business, you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home. You are helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a mom or dad put food on the table, a family pay a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders and they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting Small Businesses! - unknown author
