So your kids makes a ton of art and you don’t know what to do with it all. Some are worth a spot on the wall or the fridge others, not so much.

We have a lot of art that is left behind or test papers that are too pretty to throw away.

So, we save them and then we cut them up to use for collage and collaborative artwork!

If you’ve got a mass producer at home, consider doing the same.

Still life isn’t for everyone but for some reason, kids love it! It makes them feel like a professional artist. They get really serious for a second. Then they remember they are at the Artful Rabbit and they let loose and have fun!

Ms. Emily’s challenge for the day was to start with a long paint brush. (which we attached to rulers) Some chose to use the long brush the whole time. Others moved to smaller brushes toward the end.

Choice of color - all them. No color theory or shading or technical talk on this project. Just simply, paint what you see. Noticing shapes & lines.

Anyway, the music was playing. The compliments were being thrown around. The artists were arting. Fun was being had.

Same tea pot. Same materials. Each piece uniquely theirs.

We can’t wait to see how they evolve and grown into their own styles this year!

Homeschool Art & After School Art worked on Personal Affirmation Posters inspired by Rebecca Picker | Art Projects for Kids

Art + Play and Story + Art classes enjoyed lots of sensory play and paint!

Silent Book Club Kennesaw joined us for a cool mixed media project with dragons and libraries and Lord of the Rings soundtracks!
