For this year's Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce Annual Chairman's Gala we created floral decor inspired by the Belmont Stakes for the Triple Crown Celebration! 🐎

🌿 In each piece we used curly willow, moss, succulents, plumosa fern, and the Belmont Stakes' official flower, white carnations. With the help of the Zena Florist team we were able to create these beautiful organic designs to help celebrate this wonderful event that brings businesses and community together.

Congratulations to Erin May & Jim Larsen for tieing the knot this past weekend! 💍

💛 Erin & Jim met through their work in the senior care industry and found a connection when they were both invited to a concert.

While planning their wedding, one of the clients at their buisness .chaddsford reccommended Zena Florist for their wedding flowers!

"It's hard to choose a favorite color for a theme, so I decided to go with a more colorful selection." Erin told us. 💐

After speaking with the couple we chose to use bright and cheerful flowers such as hot pink & yellow roses, purple liatris, and even some blush peonies.

🌼 We love the way these turned out and hope that Erin & Jim had a wonderful wedding day!

On April 13th a stray tabby mamma cat was found with her babies in the basement window well at our flower shop. 💐 We counted 7 kittens. 🐱

Two days later, we came in early and found just 4 kittens huddled together. We hoped the mom was just relocating them…but after 8+ hours, it became clear she wasn’t coming back.

At this age they need to be fed every 2-3 hours and cannot survive in temperatures below 90 degrees without their mother to keep them warm. Luckily, one of our employees was kind enough to take them in...

Our employee Natalie & her partner had to turn their closet into a full blown nursery and syringe feed all 4 kittens every 3 hours...that includes in the middle of the night!

After a lot of patience, multiple vet visits, and an extreme amount of love we now have 5 week old healthy kittens! 💖 Since they have been hand fed since they were just 5 days old they LOVE people. They are incredibly snuggly, affectionate, playful, and full of love.
