Kenosha Quilting Sally Sorensen Bio
Sally Sorensen was raised in both Davenport Iowa, and Chicago Illinois. After graduating from DePaul University, She married and had three children, now grown and raising Sally’s grandchildren. She had begun sewing, and then hand embroidering at an early age, continuing into her adult years with quilting projects and machine embroidery.

After marrying her husband Gary in 2015, she relocated to southeast Wisconsin and began her home - based quilting business. Her specialties include memory quilts, custom stuffed teddy bears (specializing in bears made from military uniforms), t-shirt quilts, memory pillows, and long arming quilts for other quilters. In the last few years, she began an online store KenoshaQuilting.com - selling fabric and various quilting accessories. Sally also enjoys meeting quilters and mentoring them when asked. She enjoys speaking to quilt guilds as well as teaching workshops.

After Gary’s retirement, they purchased an RV and began branching out and selling at quilt shows around the country. Always partners in crime, they continue their journey through life together.

Getting your summer clothes out and winter clothes put away? I think those of us who live in wisconsin it may finally be time.
Have you found clothes that you just can’t part with, too many memories.

SPECIAL PARKING NOTICE

Due to the construction project of Park View Middle School,
on-site parking is extremely limited.
To accommodate this issue, we are providing a free shuttle service.
Please park for free at Greenridge Shopping Center, 911 Greenridge Center, Mukwonago, and utilize the free shuttle to and from Park View. Shuttle pick-up will be next to the Mukwonago Post Office and will run non-stop starting at 8:30 am on Saturday and 9:30 am on Sunday. We recommend car-pooling and/or having the driver drop guests off at Park View to minimize the number of passengers each trip. There will be a Shuttle/Parking Coordinator at Park View to help with questions.

My manta has always been I create only quilts and memory items. But when it comes to a Granddaughter asking “Grandma can you make me a pooh dress.” I couldn’t say no. So with help from a good friend we whipped it up in 3 days. It is big on her but she is growing like a w**d.
Granddaughter with her own well loved Pooh Bear with one of her many favorite characters Pooh Bear who is celebrating his 100th Birthday.
How many of you sew for your Grandchildren and what do you make?
