Meet our new Artist in Residence at Girls Who Paint!
Jennifer Lynn Beaudet

Jennifer Lynn Beaudet is an oil painter based in the Washington, DC area. She works in a representational style, painting figures, still life, and domestic objects using traditional oil painting techniques with an openness to experimentation.

Her work has been included in solo and group exhibitions locally and nationally, including her 2023 solo show It’s in the Journey at Art at Penn Place Gallery, Garrett Park, MD, and the Salmagundi Club in New York. She has received multiple Best in Show and First Place awards and is a recipient of the Denis Diderot Grant for an artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France.

Jen will be working and teaching in the studio for August, September, and October! Stay tuned for fall classes 🎨

What if your kid spent the summer making real art — inspired by real artists? 🎨

At Kids Who Paint, campers explore the worlds of Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Matisse through hands-on projects that are as educational as they are beautiful.

No lectures.
No screens.
Just brushes, canvases, and imagination!!!

We had such a great time @ Maryland Crab Paint Night 🦀

Laughter, creativity, and community...this is why I do these events! There is so much joy in trying something new, while meeting friends and neighbors. We all need more joy, connection, and community these days 🎨🌈💗

📣📣📣It's not too late to sign up for ART camp!!! 📣📣📣

This is our 4th summer of KIDS WHO PAINT and we are so excited to CREATE new ART with the kids!

I began my career as a K-8 art teacher and have always been inspired by the creativity of children. At Kids Who Paint, I provide the same materials I use as professional artist to my young students! Students will learn art history, elements and principles of design, as well as painting and mixed media techniques. We instill confidence and skills in our students that help them reach their artistic potential 💗

At the conclusion of each week of camp, we have a student art show! Family and friends of campers are welcome to the studio to see all the amazing work we have created 🎨🖼️

I am excited to meet some new families this summer!!!

Behind the Scenes at Girls Who Paint with Dana🌸🌸🌸

I am so grateful to have had Dana interning with me for her senior project! As you can see, these past few weeks I've needed all the help I can get 😅😂🤗 She has been truly amazing!
