Oh boy! We just received a bunch of silver-leafed Hardy Cyclamen here at the nursery! These tough perennials usually bloom in late Summer and Fall, then sport their gorgeous foliage throughout the Winter! These ones have been encouraged to start blooming early through some horticultural magic, but in future years you should expect them to bloom sometime from late August through a good chunk of Fall! Come check them out! Silver-leaved ones are hard to come by!

The July plant collection is here, and we decided to give it a tropical flair! These are all plants that can be used to create a hardy tropical garden in Western Washington! - Chinese Windmill Palm
- Dr. Moy Hardy Ginger
- Center Stage Red Crape Myrtle
- Lucifer Crocosmia
- Hartlage Wine Allspice
- Rockets Red Glare Red Hot Poker

Look who just visited our big tomato pot! Our Swallowtail friend is doing a great job at demonstrating the value of planting pollinator friendly plants next to your fruits and veggies. After all, the more pollinators you have near your edible plants, the more fruit they can produce!

Do you have any Agapanthus in your garden yet? This South African native perennial is an absolute stunner during the Summer, when the sun and heat sends the blooms skyward! While some varieties stay short and compact, we are partial to the tall ones that put themselves out there for all to see! These wonderful plants are great for both hummingbirds and bees, and come in a range of colors from blue to white, and even dark purple!

Shasta Daisies have come a long way over the years. These nearly indestructible perennials used to just be the tall, stinky daisies in your grandma’s cottage garden. These days, there are Shasta Daisies with huge, double yellow flowers (Real Charmer), dwarf varieties (Snow Cap), and even ones that look like Marigolds (Luna). We love them for their toughness, but also how beautiful they can be! We think everyone should have some Shasta Daisies in their garden!
