What a day, Kent!

That’s a wrap on the 8th Annual Cruisin’ Kent Car Show!

Thank you to everyone who brought out their incredible cars, came to vote, visited our vendors, supported the Green River College VET Fund, and spent the day with us at Kent Station.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, community partners, volunteers, judges, vendors and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this year’s show possible.

We loved seeing the lot filled with amazing cars and our community coming together for Cruisin’ Kent.

And congratulations to our 2026 Cruisin’ Kent award winners! There were so many incredible vehicles this year, and we’re grateful to every car owner who came out and made the show what it was.

FREE Mad Science is coming to Kent Station!

Get ready for an exciting, hands-on science experience where kids can explore fire, ice, combustion, dry ice, and more through incredible demonstrations and interactive experiments!

The fun takes place inside the Seattle Universal Math Museum, where kids will also have the opportunity to explore and interact with the museum’s hands-on exhibits.

School is just around the corner, and we’re teaming up with Communities In Schools of King County to help make sure local students have the supplies they need for a successful school year!

Take a look at the school supply list to see the items most needed this year. Every donation makes a difference and helps support students in our community.

Then join us for our Fill the Bus event on Thursday, August 20, from 3:00–5:00 PM at the school bus located near Johnny Rockets and AMC at Kent Station.

Whether you donate one item or fill a bag, your generosity helps local students start the school year ready to learn.

Cruisin’ Kent is almost here!

Join us Sunday, August 23 from 11 AM–2 PM at Kent Station for our 8th Annual Cruisin’ Kent Car Show. We’re bringing together an incredible lineup of cars, awards, vendors, food, family fun and plenty to see throughout the show.

Car owners — there’s still time to register your ride! The first 100 registered cars receive a custom commemorative dash plaque.

Best of all, Cruisin’ Kent is FREE to attend and supports the Green River College VET Fund, helping Veterans and Military-Connected students in our community.

KENT, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FILL THE BUS!

Kent Station’s Fill the Bus School Supply Drive, in partnership with Communities in Schools South King County, is underway, and we need our community’s help collecting school supplies for local students before they head back to school.

Between now and August 19, bring new school supplies to any of these Kent Station drop-off locations during regular business hours:

BECU
LVIV Croissants
Dough Zone
SUMM
Cold Stone Creamery
Johnny Rockets
Mama Stortini’s
Coldwell Banker

Then, on August 20, we’ll bring all of the donations together and FILL THE BUS in front of Johnny Rockets!

Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, folders and other new school supplies can make a real difference for a local student.

We need your help. Pick up a few extra supplies, drop them off at Kent Station, and help us fill that bus!
