Yes, the Chiefs lost. But three days later, we could utter one of the most wonderful 4-word sentences ever: "Pitchers and catchers report." This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Royals' wonderful 2015 championship season and also the first of FOUR parades my kids have been able to go to here in Kansas City--cities have waited lifetimes for one! Anyway, I asked the publisher, Triumph Books (the best sports publisher in the business), for all of their remaining copies of Taking the Crown. I'll have these at my fairs till I run out but if I'm not coming to a location near you, ordering from my online store is the way to go. Get ready for Bobby, Salvi, Vinnie and Cole making another run by looking back at how magical Royals baseball can be.
