Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we will be closing early today to clean up flooding from the city sewage.

The information we’ve been given is the main sewage line which runs under the railroad tracks in front of Truist Bank collapsed 3-4 years ago and that’s when our problems started. Ultimate Pawn LLC is the only business street level so once the main line in front of Truist bank fills up the sewage runs back through the lines in the shop and floods everything. Employees have been without a restroom all week and you can see by the attached receipt from 3 years ago we had to rent a porta potty for a month due to the same issue.

We’ve exhausted all means necessary to get the situation resolved. The only answer that we’ve received is the town doesn’t have the money to fix it and they’ve applied for a grant.
