Don’t forget we’re collecting donations! We got almost 300 lbs of donations today from 2 people!! The trailer is in the upper lot by the softball field.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S: Unified and the EFHS OCS program are teaming up with Goodwill for Donate 2 Educate.

We’re looking for donations that fall within what is listed in the “most needed items”. These items can be dropped off in the trailer at EFHS this week.

For every pound, we will receive $.25. For every 5 pounds donated, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. For large pieces of furniture or appliances, you will get 20 entries!

Please share! Starting Monday evening, I will be open to picking up donations for those unable to bring them to East!

A few students stayed back from community training sites so we got 2 more shirts created. We’re going to have maybe 5-6 different designs, some a single color and some multicolored. Once we’ve cut the vinyl for multiple shirts, we will put them on sale for the community to support our program!

Just another day in the vocational training lab! Following step by step directions to lay vinyl on the mats, send design to the Cricut, w**d the extra vinyl, layout the design on the t-shirt, and press the shirt with heat to transfer the vinyl.

Our seeds have started to sprout. Today, we will be thinning out the weaker seedlings so only 1 is in each planter.

Can’t wait to see these beauties start to bloom so we can start selling them!

We’ve got flowers and veggies planted…oh, and we tried a couple tomatoes and watermelons too!

We got the iPad connected back to the Cricut so we could print and cut again!

We’ll be selling these to the central office staff on March 1st and then also to the students and staff at East. But, they’re also available here too! Hopefully we’ll get our digital catalog up and ready for orders soon.

Need a vinyl sticker made for your water bottle, phone case, or car window? Let us know! Well design it, print and cut it just for you.

Today, F.R.I.E.N.D.S:Unified held our first lunch buddies. The students in the club and program made the pizzas for lunch. Next month, we’re making a taco spread. Thursday, we’re having Breakfast Buddies where we will make pancakes, waffles, and bacon and finish it off with some fruit!
