To answer questions about the silencer lawsuit ruling- you have to understand that as an FFL/SOT we are obligated to abide by local, state, and federal laws.

That being said- we will not transfer any suppressors without submitting Form 4 as usual until we are told otherwise by BATFE.

We cannot do so until that time without jeopardizing our license status.

We are all for all NFA items to be removed from the requirements and would also support the Hughes Amendment being repealed. But until it’s official- business as usual.

The Lebman M1911A1 was a rare modified C**t 1911 pistol turned into a full-auto machine pistol. Texas gunsmith Hyman Lebman created them in the 1930s. He reworked the trigger and action for automatic fire at around 1000 rounds per minute. A long compensator with seven ports on the muzzle helped control the muzzle climb.

Gangsters loved these illegal conversions. John Dillinger carried one during his crime spree. Baby Face Nelson used them too. The guns held standard 7-round .45 ACP magazines but burned through ammo fast. Lebman built only a handful before federal crackdowns hit.

Police recovered these after famous shootouts. One Dillinger gun had 22 notches filed into the grip for k*lls. The design showed early creativity with 1911 platforms, but full-auto made them uncontrollable for most shooters. They remain outlaw legends from Prohibition-era crime.

Finishing up the Re*****on 700 blueprinting. Opened up the bolt face to accept an insert.Soldered in a new insert for the bolt face. Turned the insert to the proper diameter and depth, then tried the lugs.

Next step is to cut for an M16 style extractor. Then I’ll be ready to thread, fit, and chamber the new barrel blank and thread the muzzle.
