Celebrate 30 Years of Waterlilies on Kauaʻi with Our Annual Photo Contest!
To commemorate 30 years of growing and sharing beautiful waterlilies on Kauaʻi, Garden Ponds is excited to announce our 2026 Waterlily Photo Contest!
Last year’s contest was a tremendous success, with stunning entries submitted by our talented customers from across the islands. This year, we invite you to capture the beauty, color, and magic of waterlilies and share your best photograph for a chance to win.
The grand prize winner will receive a $150 Garden Ponds Gift Certificate and have their winning photograph featured in our advertising and showcased in The Garden Island newspaper.
Whether your waterlily is blooming in a backyard pond, container garden, or at Garden Ponds itself, we encourage you to grab your camera and capture a photo that celebrates the beauty of these remarkable plants.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday August 12, 2026 at 12 pm
Contest Rules
All photos must include a waterlily (Nymphaea species).
Maximum of one entry per customer.
Photos may be taken at Garden Ponds or anywhere within the Hawaiian Islands.
Photos previously submitted to any Garden Ponds photo contest are not eligible.
By submitting your photo, you grant Garden Ponds permission to use the image in advertising and promotional materials.
Winners will be announced and featured in The Garden Island newspaper.
All entries must be received by Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
