If you use firewood for smoking or grilling such as pecan,mesquite or post oak I only have a limited amount left for this season.After that I will only have live oak for winter firewood.Listed below is what I have left and will be available today till about 5pm.I will have the bags on back of my truck and can meet you in Harker heights.Pm me if interested.

It’s ok to keep your firewood uncovered out in the open.It needs that to finish seasoning if not already seasoned.Especially during the spring and summer months.If you just wanna cover it only cover the top as the sides should be left open for wind to go through.The problem with tarps is that if the water gets up under it when you uncover it there will be mold everywhere.Just a quick tip.

Firewood is a product like every other product and is effected by gas and diesel rates as well.Bar oil price is higher,chainsaws,chains and then the labor.You can’t expect them to stay the same.My prices are the same as last year and I always tell my customers the price of waiting always out weigh the price of preparing.By the time winter truly arrives around Jan-Feb I’m already out of seasoned firewood.Thats normally when I get the calls and the price don’t matter comments.By then it’s too late.The same comparison of bundled firewood is way higher.My prices are listed on my website and all my firewood is split for smaller fireplaces as well.Nowis the time to get on my delivery list before it’s too late.Only booking for Oct.Stay ready and you won’t have to get ready.

Delivered this load yesterday to Copperas Cove and made sure another customer was ready.I was also telling a potential customer the longer you wait and the closer you get to winter you run the chance of all the seasoned firewood being gone.Another reason to get it delivered now is diesel prices continue to rise and my delivery trucks are diesel so that greatly effects delivery rates.Stay ready and you won’t have to get ready.

The two most important things to do before winter arrives is to make sure your fireplace is inspected and get your firewood on the ground.Both are great to do early as once the cold arrives wait times are longer.We get our’s checked every year even though I know we’re burning seasoned firewood.Been using Ables for years now.Delivered this load also to a new customer that burns a lot between his firepit/outdoor fireplace and inside fireplace.Wait times now for most deliveries are only 1-2 days.I only deliver on Wed-Fri.Stay ready and you won’t have to get ready.

The key to a great fire is often overlooked and it’s the kindling.Kindling is nothing more than small dry pieces of wood or other fast burning material used to bridge the gap between a tiny flame and large logs when starting a fire.I have the best kindling around used to start fires in no time.Stay ready.
