Even though my market days are behind me, I have learned a lot over the years. I thought it would be fun to start sharing some of the small business tips, products, and little secrets that genuinely made running Bear Paw easier. If it helps another maker or small business owner, even better.

One thing I never compromised on was tent weights. I saw more than one canopy take off because someone thought they weren’t necessary. These stayed on my tent through farmers markets, festivals, and windy Texas days, and they gave me so much peace of mind. They can be filled with either sand or water, are very easy to transport, look clean, and I never had issues with customers tripping on them.
