Hear ye, hear ye! After a medieval bandit made off with our prized sword, the brave knights of the Killeen Police Department answered the call. 🚔⚔️

After some fine detective work, the stolen sword has officially been recovered and returned to its rightful kingdom, Technique Flooring! 😂

A HUGE thank you to the Killeen Police Department for taking this seriously, tracking it down, and bringing it back home. We truly appreciate everything y’all do for our businesses and our community.

The bandit has been defeated.

Our team is deeply saddened by the loss of Jean Shine. She was an incredible leader, a pillar of this community, and someone who touched countless lives through her service and dedication.

We will always honor Jean's memory, and extend our condolences and prayers to the entire Shine Team family. 💙

Remembering Jean Shine — A True Fort Hood Good Neighbor

Today, we mourn the loss of Jean Shine, a remarkable Central Texas leader whose life reflected service, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to Fort Hood Soldiers, military families, veterans, and the community.

Named a Fort Hood Good Neighbor in 2001, Jean became a trusted bridge between The Great Place and Central Texas. As a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, she was a steadfast advocate for Soldiers and their families.

Her service extended beyond Fort Hood. Through Wreaths for Vets and the Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Jean helped build an enduring tradition of honoring our fallen and bringing the community together in remembrance.

Jean embodied the very best of the Army and epitomized the spirit of why Fort Hood is the Great Place.

Our deepest condolences are with the Shine family and all who knew her.

Rest well, Jean. Your legacy lives on.
