📣 Bike & Brew –9/2/26 Join us tonight! Wednesday night!🚴‍♂️🍻

The route? We will meet at Long Trail Brewery in Bridgewater on Wednesday 9/2 at 5:20pm and depart at 5:30pm!

We will meet at Long Trail Brewery and head out to Rt. 100A and then onto smooth dirt on Hale hollow Road, the road will get bumpier as we go further but eventually turn right onto Bradley Hill for a challenging climb up to the Coolidge State Park Road. We will stop for a scenic view before we descend on pavement back to Rt. 100. We will turn right and descend back to Long Trail Brewery.

A gravel road bike would be my recommendation for this ride! There are some sections of dirt that are smooth others are rough but if you’re comfortable riding on dirt you could or ride this on a road bike if you took your time.

We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just here for the ride-and-a-beer lifestyle, you’re welcome here. 🍺

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 11!🚴‍♂️🍻 New start time 5:30pm! Meet us in Pittsfield this week on the Pittsfield Village Green!

The route? We will meet in Pittsfield on the Village Green! We will ride North on Rt. 100 to Rt. 107 and then turn right onto Ranney Road. From here we will climb some dirt over to Stonybrook Rd. We will then descend back to Rt. 107 for a short bit till we turn right onto Blackmer Rd back to RT 100 heading south. This ride has a few short punchy climbs but less than 1,000’ of elevation gain at 15 miles which in VT terms is a Valley Ride!

A road or gravel road bike would be my recommendation for this ride! There are some sections of dirt but a majority of the ride is on smoother pavement.

We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 10!🚴‍♂️🍻 New start time 5:30pm! Meet us in Plymouth this week at the former Hawk Inn Resort Hotel!

The route? We will meet in Plymouth at the Hawk Inn Resort Hotel parking lot. It looks abandoned because it’s basically been abandoned but trust me this will be a great ride! We will head out on Scout Camp Rd behind Lake Amherst and Echo down to Buswell Road then head down to East Lake Rd and across to Rod and Gun Club Rd after that we will head up to Buttermilk Falls for a scenic view before we turn around and head back towards Hawk on a mixture of dirt and pavement. We did this ride last fall with a small group and people loved it!

A gravel or road bike would be my recommendation for this ride! If you’re comfortable on dirt you can ride a road or gravel bike.

We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 9!🚴‍♂️🍻 New start time 5:30pm! Meet us in Woodstock this week!

We’re kicking off Week 9 of First Stop Bike & Brew and you’re invited!

The route? We will meet in Woodstock on the green across from the Woodstock Inn. Head north on Rt. 12 towards Pomfret Rd and then Stage Rd which changes from pavement to smooth dirt. Once we get to the top we will head down to Silver Lake and then follow Rt. 12 back to town! This ride has a wonder paved downhill descent and some nice views at the lake.

A road or gravel bike would be my recommendation for this ride! If you’re comfortable on dirt you can ride a road or gravel bike.

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 8!🚴‍♂️🍻

We’re kicking off Week 8 of First Stop Bike & Brew and you’re invited!

The route? We will meet at First Stop Board Barn and head east on Rt. 4 towards Bridgewater. Turn left onto Center Rd and left onto Daily Hollow then left onto Bridgewater Hill to capture some of the best views of Killington before descending back to Rt. 4 and turn right heading west to First Stop. This ride has some challenging climbs but the views are very special!

Gravel bike would be my recommendation for this ride! If you’re comfortable on dirt you can do it on a road bike but you’ll need to take your time in a few spots.

We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 7!🚴‍♂️🍻

We’re kicking off Week 7 of First Stop Bike & Brew and you’re invited!

The route? We will meet at First Stop Board Barn and head south on pavement on Rt. 100. We will turn left at Hawk and head down pavement before it switches over to gravel! We will the continue along Scout Camp Road behind Echo Lake down to Boswell Rd to East Lake Rd to Red Bridge Rd! We can snag a nice view and photo before we head back along Rt 100 towards First Stop.

Road or Gravel bike would be my recommendation for this ride! 80% of this ride is on pavement 20% on smoothish gravel.

I have had members ride this on road bikes and gravel bikes comfortably. Please make sure your tire pressure is set before we roll out!

We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

📣 Bike & Brew – Week 5 Meet us in Plymouth!🚴‍♂️🍻

We’re kicking off Week 5 of First Stop Bike & Brew and you’re invited!

The route? We will meet 113 Chapman Road Plymouth, VT. We will ride Cross Road to Tyson Reading on pavement and then to dirt on Tattle Road to Heald Rd to 20 Mile Stream back up to Chapman Rd. We did this ride last year and people love the views of Ascutney and Okemo! It’s Marks Birthday ride!

Gravel bike would be my recommendation for this ride! But if you’re comfortable riding on loose gravel/class IV roads you could ride it carefully on a road bike.

Meet us at Mark and Deb’s 113 Chapman Road Plymouth, VT. We will roll out for a casual group ride through some of the most scenic roads around central Vermont, finishing with some well-earned brews and good vibes.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just here for the ride-and-a-beer lifestyle, you’re welcome here. 🍺
