The Design Haus of Kimmswick will be open for business but the Kids side will be closed for renovations for the next couple of weeks. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our valued customers. I will update you as we get closer to opening the kids side again.

Due to having some renovations of The Design Haus plus kids shop, we will be closed for the week of January 13 thru the 16th. The Design Haus will reopen January 17 but the not the Kids ahop. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our valued customers.

I want to thank these very special ladies! No, I do not know them or their names but I tell you they are angels. It was about 4:45 I was getting ready to close the shop when a strange man came in and went up stairs. I was checking out a gal and said “I’m not feeling comfortable with that guy.” She offered to stay. I said I would be fine. Well, her and all of her friends DID stay. They went up stairs, looked around (keeping an eye on him) then he came back down. He left, but not a few minutes later, (4:55) two younger guys came in (late teens early 20’s) I got a bad feeling. They said they wanted to warm up and look around i told them i was closing. The gals called the Kimmswick cop for me. Even a member of the singers came in to keep me safe. I went upstairs to check the doors to the outside, making sure they were locked. Some was NOT! All this time, these people work protecting me. I want to thank you ladies and gent for making sure I was safe!
