Keeping all of our tools and supplies in stock effortlessly with Kanban has been really transformative for our shop. Putting an emphasis on simple and clear organization systems saves us a huge amount of time.

Thanks for the inspo Devin Bodony ! I think you have the best thought out system i've seen for this.

Making an Arda card gets the information out of one person’s head. These grippers are great! And now they’re even better.

There's nothing more demoralizing than running into problems and just ignoring them so they're going to happen again later. That's why we take a little bit of time every day to improve how we do the process and not just muscle through.

This has been on my list for a little while, and my hand was forced when we lost a couple of the fasteners. Now this problem won't happen again. Interestingly, right after I stopped filming, I went to change out the fasteners on the other gripper, and with the hex, it was completely rounded out and took me about 40 minutes to extract. So glad this is behind me.

The best way to understand .cards is to spend time on the shop floor using it to manufacture our CNCed Cam Straps. Fun showing .play the process.

It has taken us countless hours of continuous improvement to get to this point. Between 3D printed fixtures and a strong Kanban system to keep all materials flowing, our focus on improving process continues to pay off. Both in speed and efficiency as well as quality. It also means every day is a new puzzle, which keeps manufacturing interesting and fun.
