Lots going on here at "The Shed" so lets get the party rolling.

Lets start off with our hours.
Today open at 10:30 am to 5pm. Judy will be here from 10:30 to 3:30 as our on site artisan ready to help with any project questions, color selection, special order, class sign ups or just kick back with a cup of tea or coffee and kibits fiber. Good time to browse our newest 100% Kiowa ranch raised Alpaca yarn and rovings.

Sandy will be here carding fiber for our famous GIANT alpaca dryer balls. If youve ever wondered how we make em, this is the first step in the process.

Tomorrow, Saturday 9/12
Kathie and Judy will be traveling to the Salida Fiber Festival. If your going be sure to watch our for Kathie and Judy. Great time to visit some of our favorite vendors like Greenwood Fiberworks and Cat Mountain Fiber Arts. We have 2 open spots if you want to carpool, the boat leaves the store between 7and 7:30am. (We use our Suburban so plenty of room to stretch out.)

Farmer Dave will keep the store open starting at 10am. Poor guy has ranch chores to finish up first.

$$$$$$$$$$$$ REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG NEWS $$$$$$$$$$$$$
We are in the testing faze of our Brand New "Customer Loyalty" Program. Our CL program will be based on a point value depending on how much you spend. There will be 3 levels that you can redeem your points at. Each level will accrue points and those points can be added to achieve the next level. So, the more you spend the more points you earn the bigger the discount on your nest purchase. We will have more details with a full roll out on Sunday. The entire program will be managed through our Square POS so the initial sign up can be done at the register by just entering your phone number and name. Square also maintains a high level of security for all information and privacy.

RANCH NEWS
Girls south/East fencing complete so hopefully no more escape artists. Next fence section will be the girls south/west section. Its intact but needs tightening up here and there.

Flo is about to deliver any day now. Were hoping its sooner rather than later, you never know about this Colorado weather.

STORE HOURS UPDATE
Judy Glaser will be in the store from 10:30am to 3:30pm Today and tomorrow. We will still be open till 5pm both days.

A great time to stop by and see our latest yarn and roving additions including our very own Alpaca fiber. Enjoy the peace and quit of our ranch setting while deciding your next project.

Judy has many years of raising high quality fiber Llamas, spinning, weaving, color choice, blending so perfect time to sit and kibbits about fiber.

AND, don't forget to ask about our "Broken Wing" discount while Judy is tending the store. (Fascinating story but you gotta ask her)

Hope your all having a great Labor Day weekend.

Just FYI,
today were in the store stocking and doing inventory in prep for the upcoming holiday "I better get started on my Christmas project" season.

So if your so inclined, stop on by were open to 5, (that's when farmer Dave will be firing up the trager) we'd love to help you get started.

Open today 10a.m. to 5p.m.

Stocking our Alpaca Yarn today. This yarn is from Colorado raised Alpaca right here in Kiowa on our ranch. You can actually see the Alpacas that it came from. Each skein has a label with the name of the animal. You have GOT to feel this to believe how soft it is.

P.S.: the A.C. is on for nice cool browsing.

OMG - I am working a dirty job this week. I must say you can take the girl out of Kiowa, but the dust remains. New alpaca yarns and roving will be available in the store this weekend. I will post pictures when it is washed and ready to go home with you.
