Look at how gorgeous the shine of this Irish Crystal is! This weekly showstopper is more of a closer look at Waterford Crystal and the pieces we have in our store!

✨A Brief History of Waterford Crystal🥃

Waterford Crystal was opened in 1783 in Waterford,Ireland. The company was originally opened by George Penrose and William Penrose. They went on to make the most beautiful patterns including the infamous and ever so popular Lismore pattern. The Business would continue to produce beautiful crystal until 1853, where they closed their doors due to financial struggles. But that would not be the end of the name.
In 1947 Waterford Crystal was brought back after a glorious revival of crystal production in Ireland by Czech immigrants. Charles Bačík owned an established glass business in Czechoslovakia but fled the country after the Communist regime began taking over his company. After partnering with Irishman Bernard Fitzpatrick they worked together to rebuild Waterford Crystal as a brand. They hired experienced glass makers from central Europe to come and work the factories as well as train the Irish workforce.
The History of Waterford Crystal is a long and interesting story of two companies that both produced some of the finest crystal on the planet!

✨A Vintage Solid Walnut Hutch✨

We believe this piece to have been made sometime in the mid to late 20th century, but don’t let that fool you this piece was designed and built out of solid wood. Weighing in at approximately 1000 lbs this piece was built to last! 🪵

With four original keys, five shelves that slide like butter, and adjustable shelving this piece is ready to serve for the next generation!

This weeks showstopper is pure elegance and a testament to fine American Craftmanship!
✨A Victorian Serpentine Dresser! ✨

This piece dates to the mid to late 19th century and is made of Quartersawn “Tiger” Oak wood. Paired with a beveled glass diamond shaped mirror and you have a breathtaking piece of history.

We believe this piece was refinished sometime in the mid to late 20th century, but I assure you the finish looks original!

These beauties can fetch anywhere from $50-$500, ours is only $180! 💸

A solid walnut bed frame from before the American Civil War!✨
Look closely at the fine craftsmanship and intricate carved details of this gorgeous bed!
We believe this bed was made sometime in the mid 19th century, And has ties to President Buchanan! We even have hand written history for this bed so we know how it ended up in our store!
