I’m not exactly sure who came up with the term blind date with a book but when I alerted the ABFE about the trademark filing back in April, I got sent 100s of photos for their files from indie bookstores and libraries using the term and idea going all the way back to the 1980s. Before I was born. 40 some odd years before that stupid company filed a trademark. It’s also been annoying to see soulless corporations try to profit off the idea of indie bookstores and librarians with the most boring versions of a blind date I have ever seen. And now, to see them listed on Evil River Co 🙄 anyways - ours are hand wrapped by Tania and Erin, each and every item that comes with them is carefully selected. Each description for our in person blind dates is written by us, and each book is hand selected for quality and uniqueness. They are discounted tonight in the store. Pick your genre and your age group! We make them for everyone!

We got an award from our website and POS host, Shopify - it took 18 months to get this approved and shipped to us so we have already doubled this number plus some… next award comes at order 100k! Don’t forget we have a discount on Blind Date with a Book which ends today. Help us get to that next level.
