In 2005, Just Us Chickens gallery opened with 18 artists exhibiting everything from jewelry to furniture. In the years since, we've steadily grown to our current roster of over 30 artists. Today we are a shop full of beautiful, hand crafted works of art of all mediums: ceramics, jewelry, fiber, basketry, art from nature, glass, and much more. We are an ideal gift shop as well as a wonderful source for greeting cards.

There's still time to acquire beautiful stemware or a tumbler or two from our Guest Artist for June, Stacey Brown of So Particular 603. The colors of her vibrant resin art are inspired by both the ocean and the northern lights. Her array of beautiful pieces include glassware, cutting boards, bowls, mugs and even magnets. Her work will be here in the shop thru end of June. Stop in and admire the colors!

Our artists can be found in many places in the community. Heidi Stein of Sea Witch Glass will be at the 55th Annual S**o Arts Festival on Saturday, June 20. Each piece of Heidi's glasswork is hand shaped and further enhanced thru the faceting process, creating truly one-of-a-kind pieces. If you don't make it to the Arts Festival, stop in at our shop to see a selection of her work.

Our members' works can be found out in our community. All this month of June, our member Ellen Minnehan has a watercolor on display at Beach Pea Baking at 53 State Road (Route 1) Kittery. Come in to our shop to see Ellen's whimsical watercolor work. She does landscapes too!

Our artists can be found out and about in the community. Marjorie MacLeod of DelMac Designs will be at the Kittery Block Party on Saturday, June 20. Marjorie makes the most gorgeous jewelry from silver-plated flatware and repurposed copper. If you don't make it to the Block Party, stop in at our shop to see a selection of her work.

The hummingbirds are back! This pebble art piece by Judith Theriault is just the sweetest gift for a bird enthusiast. Shown here resting on a mini-easel, it's also magnetic so can be used to hold important notes on the fridge. Judith also creates larger framed pieces. Come in and see the variety available.

Welcome to So Particular 603, Vibrant Resin Art by Stacey Brown, our Guest Artist for June. Stacey's work captures the fluid beauty of the ocean—layering translucent pigments and shimmering minerals into pieces that echo rolling waves and coastal horizons. We have cups, glasses, cutting boards, magnets, and more. Come in to the shop anytime this month to see her work in person.

Our member potters, Amy Kendall and Mylinda Woodward, both have bowls in this event taking place Friday, May 29, 6pm, at Back Hill Beer Company, 73 Pickering Rd, Rochester, NH.

MudCity Clay is partnering with Back Hill Beer to host their first ever Empty Bowls Event! Please come and purchase a handmade bowl ($10-$20 donation) and share in a meal. Maybe even grab a beer! All proceeds will raise money for Reds Good Vibes, which provides food for folks in the seacoast who need support.

The display for our May Guest Artist - Deb Hastings of The Artist's Eye Designs - remains in the shop for a few more days. Deb sources leather handbags and wallets from local thrift shops and creatively embellishes them with leather paint and a protective coating. She also has a variety of earrings made from thrifted cookie tins and beads. There's still time before end of May to view and purchase her unique items.
