Today, at least one kid will walk into this store with their eyes twinkling, SO excited and grateful to talk about their favorite hobby with people who understand them.

There is ZERO reason for a grown adult to walk into a store like this—even accidentally—and say, “Oh no, this store is for nerds,” in front of a child, and then walk out.

We watched that kid’s excitement disappear in real time. Chris and I tried to laugh it off, reassure him, and cheer him back up—but he never should have been made to feel embarrassed in the first place.

Kraken’s Keep is a safe, accepting place for kids and adults alike. Be excited about things. Be a nerd. Talk our ears off about the game you love. You belong here.
