We’ve enjoyed serving Knoxville through this bookstore for the last two years. From hosting awesome events like Stories and Songs to working with amazing local authors, every day in America’s Least Pretentious Bookstore has been a blast. We’ve made so many new friends and neighbors in Sequoyah Hills. What a ride!
After much thoughtful deliberation, we’ve decided to end operations this spring as our lease expires. It’s been an extremely tough decision, but we are moving on to new opportunities that made this the right thing to do.
We have loved running Bear Den Books and hope you will all come out to support us during our last month or two. So make sure to use those gift cards, and get your Bear Den tees before they’re collector’s items! We will be open through at least early March, and we’ll announce the official date when final details are nailed down.
Thanks for all of your support – we hope you’ll continue to support local Knoxville businesses!
