What a Sunday! 😂
Doing some repairs on this vintage T-shirt for my son today. As his personal seamstress, I don’t charge money—my payment is simple:

✔️ Love and appreciation
✔️ Understanding that I am a fu***ng awesome mom
✔️ Being my chauffeur for the day

Today’s payment included a trip to Dick’s Sporting Goods where I scored an amazing Mexico World Cup tee and skirt, a stop at Guitar Center so he could buy a guitar, and an unexpected adventure at the gas station when his car decided it didn’t want to start. Thankfully, we got the battery charged and were back on the road.

Between sewing vintage tees, shopping, guitar hunting, and roadside troubleshooting, it’s been one of those days that keeps life interesting.

A little piece of Mérida on my hand. ✨
As a jewelry creator, I am always thinking about my hometown, Mérida, Yucatán. Yesterday I made this brass ring for myself, inspired by a little olla (small cooking pot) that reminds me of home, family gatherings, and the traditional Yucatecan kitchens where so many memories are made.
Hand-shaped and hammered in brass, this ring carries the imperfect beauty of handmade work and the connection to my roots. Sometimes the pieces we create for ourselves tell the deepest stories.
From Mérida to Tennessee, I carry a little piece of home wherever I go. 💛

🇨🇷 Medical Mission Trip Costa Rica 2026 ❤️
Every year, I am blessed to be part of a Medical Mission Team through the United Methodist Church. Our team of doctors, nurses, translators, pharmacists, and volunteers travels to communities in Costa Rica where access to medical care can be limited.
Together, we provide medical services, medications, health education, and most importantly, share God’s love with the people we serve.
For me, this mission is more than a trip. It is an opportunity to put my faith into action, helping and loving our brothers and sisters in Christ. Every smile, every prayer, and every person we meet reminds me why serving others is so important.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Mark 12:30-31
