Is there anything you are a bit insecure about? If you’re anything like me, something immediately came to mind! For me, it’s that I’m intensely introverted (though most people would never believe it). I have struggled to feel comfortable in social situations all my life, but am working every day to turn things around. Lately, I've tried to quell anxiety with simply making myself SHOW UP. It's really that simple, right? Just be nice. And yet, our kids face a lot of not nice people every day. We wish we could protect them, and we can when they're little. But now that we have teens, it's SOOO hard! All we can do is prepare them for life the best we can and teach them to always be the bigger person. But sometimes it just sucks. I remember when they were toddlers thinking how difficult it was ... and it WAS, but at least I had some semblance of control over their lives! Parenting teens ain't for wimps, that's for sure. Surely I'm not the only one having a hard time?

I worry about our teenage girls. They see so many seemingly perfect influencers, feeds, etc. that they begin to think that what they're seeing is "normal." In fact, many (most?) times, nothing could be further from the truth. , anyone?. What they really need to see are these wise words from Coco Channel, one of the greatest fashion icons of all time. "Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself." That's where the real connection is. That's what others can relate to. That's where the beauty lies.

Do you ever think about what goes on behind the scenes of a small business? It's usually not the perfectly curated feed you see on your screen. And here it's no different. Getting started has been MESSY. I’m talking forgot-to-put-the-lid-on-the-blender-while-mixing-a-smoothie messy! I’ve been working on taking photos of sample boxes and to be honest, it’s a work in progress! (Note my somewhat scrappy lightbox.). I’ll eventually get this metaphorical mess cleaned up and perfect my smoothie-making skills, but right now I’m in the trenches! Double tap if you can relate to this situation!

Can I tell you my “why” for starting this company? Meet Lillie.... the sweetest sparkle of sunshine you can imagine! She LOVES a good graphic tee, and getting packages is one of her favorite things! In addition to that, though, I want her to learn about design, and business, and financials, and all the things that come with running a company. She will be the very first member of our Teen Advisory Board, a group of 11 teen girls who will be responsible for the concept and contents of each box. The girls will learn leadership in business, and I can hardly wait to get started! If you have a teen girl who maybe interested in serving, please DM me :)

Hello! Welcome to , where I post a ton about my business, and not infrequently about my adorable and gigantic goldendoodle, Major. But every now and again I like to toss up a post that tells you some things about me you probably didn’t know besides the fact that I’m a business owner. Ready? I have a secret obsession with 90 Day Fiance' on TLC. Inconsistent temperatures drive me insane. In fact, my thermostat is ALWAYS set on 66 degrees and I pity the fool who changes it. LOL. I also always have every single light on downstairs, as I don't like dark places. Right now, I’m really into using my Cricut and am slapping vinyl on literally everything. I love nothing more than sailing on Disney Cruise Line, and would live on one of their ships if they'd let me. (They always make me leave though. Rude. 😂). So, that's me. Now I'm ready to hear something about YOU!
