Nothing says fall like the classic combo of caramel and apples. This sweet treat is as decadent as it is sippable and is perfect for sitting around the fire with friends. Notes of nostalgic caramel candy and crisp, tart apples make this limited offering ideal for the cooler months.

Our first LE26 spotlight is on the December release, Connexion Red.

Connexion Red brings together two of France’s most
celebrated red grapes. Grenache, a hallmark of the Rhône
Valley, meets Merlot, the signature variety of Bordeaux. Dark
berry notes lead, supported by subtle plum and raspberry
undertones. Gentle spice and soft herbal hints complement
the fruit, while smooth tannins and bright acidity result
in a balanced finish.

LANGUEDOC, FRANCE
This Mediterranean climate combines warm sunshine
with cooling coastal breezes. Limestone and clay soils retain
moisture, supporting healthy vines and concentrated fruit.
These conditions help the grapes ripen fully

13.5% | DRY | MED-FULL BODY | MEDIUM OAK

FOOD PAIRINGS
• Herb-roasted lamb and grilled sausages
• Mushroom risotto
• Charcuterie board with aged cheeses and fig jam

As with all LE releases, the quantity is limited to pre-orders received.
Pre-orders are due by Friday, November 6th, at 5:00 pm EST.
Marketing materials can be found in the general-info and downloads section of the storefront.

To chill or not to chill Red W**e?

While researching articles for this newsletter, I noticed something that caught me by surprise. Several w**e experts recommended serving red w**e slightly chilled.
Like many people, I always believed red w**e should be served at room temperature after it had a chance to “breathe.” As it turns out, that’s only partly true. What they really mean is cellar temperature—not the 72°F living room where most of us enjoy our w**e.
The 20-Minute Rule
Most red w**es are at their best when served between 55° and 65°F. Since most homes are considerably warmer than that, the recommendation is simple: place your bottle in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before serving. A slight chill helps highlight the w**e’s fruit flavors and keeps the alcohol from overpowering the palate.
So why did we all grow up hearing “serve red w**e at room temperature”? The advice dates back to France, where w**e was stored in naturally cool stone cellars that hovered around 55°F—not in centrally heated homes. While researching articles for this newsletter, I noticed something that caught me by surprise.
