How cool is this?!?!

We’re honored to welcome Tom & Tony Bancroft to Shep’s Cards & Collectibles — two of the most influential artists and storytellers behind some of Disney’s most iconic moments.

Between them, their work spans a generation of classic films. Tom Bancroft is best known as the creator of Mushu from Mulan, and contributed animation work to films like The Lion King (young Simba), Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and more. Tony Bancroft served as co-director of Mulan and played a key role in shaping the look, tone, and storytelling of one of Disney’s most beloved animated films.

Their fingerprints are all over the Disney Renaissance era — characters and stories that still define animation today.

And they’re not just part of the past — their work continues into the present with Disney Lorcana, where their illustration style carries into the cards collectors are chasing right now. This is a rare chance to meet artists whose work spans from the big screen to the hobby.
