Dustin and Marlee came up from Arkansas each with a plan. Marlee wanted to catch as many smallmouth as humanly possible in 2 days and to see what the 1000 islands region was about , Dustin, a guide himself was looking for “OLE BIG”. I tried my best to get them to connect the dots on a real big one but we never could break the barrier with the wind provided and the program I decided for us to run. They did put well over 100 in the boat and caught a whole pile over 4 from Wolfe island to Rockport though and that made for some good old fashioned fun. Thankful to have had the bite I had the last few days , as I know others are not always that fortunate. Feels good to be back in the saddle guiding hard for the next month. Praise god.
