🎮📢 PLAYABILITY IS CONSIDERING HIRING!
Potential Position: Part-Time Social Media Manager / Content Creator
As Playability continues to grow, we're considering bringing on a dedicated Social Media Manager to help take our online presence to the next level!
With three locations in Middlesboro, KY, Harlan, KY, and LaFollette, TN, we're looking for someone creative, motivated, and capable of producing engaging content that helps our business continue growing.
🎥 WHAT WOULD THE JOB INVOLVE?
- Creating, filming, and editing entertaining and engaging videos.
- Making daily posts across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Producing short-form content, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Traveling between all three Playability locations to capture content.
- Promoting store events, tournaments, new inventory, sales, and special announcements.
- Photographing merchandise and creating promotional graphics.
- Developing original content ideas and marketing campaigns.
- Engaging with our online community.
- Tracking analytics, identifying trends, and improving content performance.
- Working alongside our employees to create fun and entertaining content.
📈 WE'RE LOOKING FOR GROWTH, NOT MAINTENANCE!
This is extremely important to us.
Playability already has an established social media presence, and we're looking for someone who can improve upon what we're currently achieving.
We're not looking to hire someone simply to maintain our existing numbers or post content for the sake of posting.
We want someone who can:
✅ Increase our reach, views, and engagement.
✅ Consistently grow our audience and follower base.
✅ Develop creative content that performs better than our current content.
✅ Identify opportunities to reach new customers and communities.
✅ Turn online attention into actual store traffic and sales.
✅ Analyze performance metrics and continuously improve our social media strategy.
We want someone who can bring fresh ideas, take initiative, and deliver measurable results!
⭐ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience filming and editing videos using programs such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- A strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all three stores.
- Flexibility to attend store events and occasionally work weekends.
- An interest in video games, Pokémon, trading cards, collectibles, and pop culture.
- Confidence working with people and occasionally appearing on camera.
- The ability to maintain a consistent content schedule.
A portfolio or examples of previous content would be highly preferred. We care more about your abilities and results than formal education.
💰 POSITION DETAILS
This would initially be a part-time, paid position, with the potential to develop into a salaried position as the role and business grow.
Performance will be a major consideration in the long-term development of this position.
We would evaluate success based on measurable improvements in reach, engagement, audience growth, content quality, and the ability to generate additional business.
We're looking for someone interested in growing with Playability, not just filling a position!
📩 INTERESTED?
We're still evaluating whether to officially create this position, but we'd love to hear from potential candidates!
If you're interested, send our page a message with:
- A brief introduction about yourself.
- Your experience creating and managing social media content.
- Examples of videos, pages, or projects you've worked on.
