We had a BLAST with Jackson Square Collective’s day at the wonderful Clarendon Hills Vintage Market at the CH Oktoberfest. Here’s some quick photos we took … and sorry we didn’t take more. We truly appreciate all the efforts of everyone from the Clarendon Hills Chamber, Jackson Square Collective & the townspeople of CH and all visiting the new CH Vintage Market… we’re looking forward to more fun times with JSC & our Vintage Family of small local shops trying to share antique and vintage treasured finds to the Chicagoland community and beyond. Happy to share our Bourbonnais Shop 420 will be part of this year’s wonderful October 2 & 3, 2026 event organized by our friend Ann & her wonderful Patriot family. It’s truly about supporting the fabric of the old road through small shops in Illinois & Wisconsin. Hope more shops and customers will join in to help the mission of saving antiques and vintage items and finding them new loving homes.

So happy to be part of this year's Vintage Shop Hop October 2 & 3, 2026 in our Bourbonnais Shop 420 in Northfield Square Mall! Really thankful to organizer Ann & her family for all she and her family do for small business and all helping with our mission to repurpose vintage and antique treasures, many saluting our dear Veterans and First Responders, trying to find all items of quality new loving homes. All inspired by family and American values.

On this 25th Anniversary of such a sad, horrific day, we pray for all in NYC and all that day everywhere ... and all that have served and serve our country...work we do is always about remembering life when quality and care and kindness came first...and serving families and communities took the lead. It's what we try to do daily. Thanks to Ann and all creating programs for small businesses to survive and thrive ... in Illinois, Wisconsin, and beyond.

God Bless Our USA!! Today & Always!! Hope you'll join us in the days ahead in our shop in Bourbonnais, Lagrange Park and everywhere we share our love of country and history through our work. Our thoughts today on this 25th Anniversary of 9/11 and all it represents are sadness … but our family has always prayed for our beloved USA. Our grandfathers, fathers, uncles, brothers, cousins and friends all served in wars or are stilll serving today. It’s what our little shop is all about; love of our country and freedom. And trying to have quality made and artisan made items to bring JOY to all that we meet. In Bourbonnais or Lagrange Park; or in towns where we’ve lived and worked. We serve our communities to try to help others. The American Way. The KIND way.

Each customer and family or friend that we have we treasure cause it’s the Faith of Community we are thankful for and try to practice daily kindness, service and care. It’s the theme of all we do & share. We are so grateful to all supporting our small shop and are grateful all sharing our stories. We pray today for all serving our country and communities all over the world.
