everything needlepoint, classes and finishing The Canvas Studio has over 3000 square feet of wall space featuring hand-painted needlepoint canvases.

We have two stores: The Thread Gallery is devoted entirely to threads used in all forms of hand-work, sorry no knitting. As a full service store we offer classes throughout the year as well as framing and finishing services. Once a year we host a destination Getaway bringing together stitchers from all over the country for a weekend of fun and camaraderie with a needle in hand. If you aren't able to visit us, our very talented and accommodating staff are here to help via telephone, email or through or web store.

Thank you for having a birthday Laura Taylor and chocolate is on the menu! From our favorite bakery down the street Michelle Coulon is Gateau Aileen on the left and Gianduia, which is the chocolate. The latter is my favorite! Thanks to all the stitchers for celebrating with us!

Time to redo my window display with one of my favorites, Halloween! I'm trying not to use everything up so that I can get some great ideas to finish up the middle shop. That is if the floor ever gets finished, gets cleaned up and so much more! The canvases are all from Ashley Dillon, the creator of the Marches that we all love! The center larger canvas has all the characters on it and then there's 6 individual ones. My favorite is the ghost! I might have to put that in my stitching queue! They're all in stock right now, but not on the website yet. Www.needlenook.com or email [email protected]

Fawn and Friends from the artwork of Charley Harper for the trunk show of Harper at the Needle Nook of La Jolla. I think this is a rather newer one and it's so sweet. You have lots of room to develop a few great stitches in the sky and the grass. Shop online www.needlenook.com or drop us an email [email protected]
