Thank you Intuitive Angling with Randy Blaukat letting us see this image of George Perry and his record catch. This is the plateau we all strive to exceed.

George Perry’s 22 lbs. 4 oz. largemouth bass which is the standing world record taken in 1932 in Georgia.

He said he caught it on a creek chub wiggle fish, which is a metal lip wobbling lure.

It always makes me think about how aggressive the fish must’ve been that long ago to hit such a simple looking lure.
