Hello my beautiful people!šŗ. Itās been a hot minute since Iāve shared a picture of myself, so I thought it was time to reintroduce the face (and the hands) behind The Misty Pistil, mobile flower bar & bouquets!š
Hi, Iām Misty!š»If youāve stopped by Civitas Coffee in La Mirada over the past few months looking for fresh flowers, you may have noticed they havenāt been there.š The truth is, life threw me into a season I both did AND didnāt quite see coming.
The last few months have been filled with some pretty significant life changes. Between moving, navigating a new chapter, and learning what life looks like now, I had to give myself permission to ā¦ step back.
As much as I love creating bouquets, sometimes we have to take care of ourselves before we can pour into the things we love.ā¤ļø
Yesterday, I celebrated 17 years as a breast cancer survivor. Seventeen years!! That milestone had me reflecting on just how many seasons Iāve lived throughā¦ and how every one of them has shaped who I am today.
Flowers have always reminded me that blooming isnāt something we do just onceā¦. We bloom, we rest, we weather storms, and somehowā¦ we bloom again!
At 49 (almost 50!), Iām proof that itās never too late for a new beginning! Life can change in an instant, but so can hope. There is still so much beauty to create, energy to generate, joy to find, and new chapters to write.
So while Iām still walking through this new season, Iām excited to say that fresh bouquets will be making their way back into my hands to create and back into Civitas Coffee for you to enjoy! šø
