With my deepest sorrow I wanted you all to know, and as many of you already know, I started "Love, Simply." small business making wreaths with my mom who unexpectedly passed away this week from a pulmonary embolism. We started this adventure together as she LOVED crafting and to help generate money for her to have medical coverage after her husband passed away from Dementia. My mom was his full time care giver through it all and was amazingly strong through it! She lost her health coverage and was not old enough for Medicare, and this adventure was helping her do what she loved and to also bridge the medical coverage gap! At first, she designed and made them because she was exceptionally talented and just went with it, I sold them, and we did craft shows together and she'd answer all the questions! We were a team! ❤️ The busier we got, the more custom orders we received, we had to design and make them together. Then, as you may know she was diagnosed with narapathy which caused her to have a drop foot, which subsequently made her less stable on her feet. Last November she fell and broke her arm, and was unable to make wreaths. This was the peak holiday season and she taught me all the tricks and secrets to making beautiful wreaths! At first mine were not as great as hers, and I was frustrated. With her guidance and advice, my wreaths started coming out exactly like hers! She would tell me all the time how great I was getting with making wreaths and how beautiful they were turning out! I told her, I had a great teacher!! ❤️ Recently, we were so excited bc she just turned 62 and got her medicare card that was to go into effect this July. We already had dr visits set up to get her what she needed to repair her failing body. With this tragedy, I haven't decided if I will continue this adventure alone yet or not just trying to get through the days. Please join me and my family in thought and prayer as we navigate this extremely unfortunate situation as we mourn our dear precious sweet and loving mom! ❤️
