It started with a simple idea…

Let’s help fill the classroom libraries of our new teachers in our school district…

And our community did so much more than that. ❤️

Today we began sorting through the donations, and we are completely overwhelmed—in the very best way.

📚 1,078 books… and we’re not done yet.

Every stack, every box, and every single book represents someone who chose to invest in a teacher they may never meet and in students they’ll likely never know.

To every person who donated books, shared our posts, spread the word, or simply cheered this project on… thank you. You are helping create welcoming classrooms, build classroom libraries, and remind our newest teachers that this community is already standing behind them.

We still have a few days left! Donations will be accepted through August 1, so there’s still time to help us add a few more books to the piles.

My heart is so full. This is what community looks like. ❤️📚

Because of YOU….moments like this are possible.

Our family spent many years in 4-H. It shaped my kids in countless ways and introduced us to some of the hardest-working, kindest, most capable young people you’ll ever meet. I truly believe the Weld County 4-H program is something incredibly special.

Every year, I sit at the Junior Livestock Sale and dream a little dream to one day hear….

“SOLD… to Daymaker Gifts.”

I’m not there yet…

But today, I got to be part of supporting these amazing kids in a small way, and I left feeling incredibly grateful.

The best part? It wasn’t just me.

It was every single person who has chosen to shop at Daymaker Gifts, trusted us with your gift giving, attended our events, supported our vendors, and believed in what we’re building.

🎈LaSalle… you sure know how to fill our hearts. 💛

Today wasn’t about a Breezy…even though she is the coolest of all…

Or balloons.

Or even a parade.

It was about community.

It was about waving at familiar faces, meeting new ones, watching kids smile, and being reminded why we love calling LaSalle home.

Getting to cruise through town with Breezy, surrounded by this incredible Daymaker crew, was one of those moments we’ll remember for a long time.

Thank you to everyone who waved, smiled, cheered us on, and stopped by the shop before or after the parade. Every conversation, every visit, every familiar face reminded us why we’re so grateful to be part of this little corner of Colorado.

Here’s to small towns.
