Ok guys, I’m ready to make an attempt at getting the 3.6” U.F.O. available for sale. My inbox is flooded, which caught me off guard a little due to the number of bait makers producing them. Long post, but please take the time to read.
Packaging will arrive tomorrow. As usual I’m attempting to keep pricing low on the garbage and get you all fishing.
I’m not going to sell the singles, seems pointless and to be honest who wants to over pay for just one. They will be sold in pairs of same colors, 2fers per se.
These will be plastisol, NOT TPE, haters gonna hate… go buy your $15 per each bait, or more, your gonna lose on the first cast just to have stretch (some of those colors tho!) which makes me completely die rolling on the floor laughing and such. This was mentioned due to all the melting and deformation issues… do not throw my baits in with the TPE formulation… your tacklebox WILL become sludge! Move on if you’re gonna tell me all the things I’m doing wrong, other than an adjustment to the plastisol formula to make your experience better, I seriously don’t care.
I will be at a solid $7 per pair, solid color… add $1 for laminates, $.50 for scents. Initially I was thinking $4 each, which would cover my investment, ingredients, and packaging, then $7 for two, but let’s not screw around. I want to fish, you want to fish, let’s get it done. If it wasn’t for the time consuming process involved of the mold and demolding, the packaging (I threw mine in a bag today, not something I would sell you) and larger shipping boxes this is literally a $2 bait. It might be the first time ever I have lowered the price over time on a bait as well. We will see.
I am typically fairly busy making baits. With this being a completely different formula than most, only my 6” and 7” Swimbaits use this formula, there will be a wait, hopefully less than a couple days to ship but orders will definitely be fulfilled on a first come first serve bases, I can’t just shoot it while I’m shooting other baits of the same color. If I’m shooting the U.F.O, or larger swimbaits, in a particular color I will post. In my mind that may speed things up.
It will take me some time to get all colors on the website, there is a process there that keeps things organized and not just willey nilley added because it might “look cool”, and let’s be honest… who wants to scroll through 100 different colors when there are literally only 8-10 you really need. To make things a little easier for those that are interested in messaging me for pre orders. All the colors on the website are available, if you check out the color line in the 2” Gilley, you will have my basic colors to chose from, dual colored bait options are there as well. All proven in my area and over 40 states on crappie, bass, walleye, and more. Message me ONLY then. If you have a custom color or combo, please provide a picture (unless I have made the color for you in the past)… be cautious with this, if someone else is already making this exact bait please don’t ask me to copy them… buy it from them!
