Was fortunate to hunt with my son on his spring break from VMI. He’ll be graduating soon and we may not have the kind of time to hunt together we are used to. Great weather and Hog hunting in San Luis Obispo County and a superb guide. Yea we are crazy here in California, but it’s also crazy country and some of the best hunting in the USA. We even caught the bloom, saw Tule Elk and Antelope. Yes, we have Antelope in California.

Was fortunate to hunt with my son on his spring break from VMI. He’ll be graduating soon and we may not have the kind of time to hunt together we are used to. Folks, I am doing the Mountaineers Route (hopfully!) in June. I have the 7.5 minute quads, and looking at the Nat Geo map, is there a “better” map I should also take a look at?

Spent the day with my daughter doing a few things around the house getting last hunt wrapped up, prepping for new ones, and enjoying her incredible sourdough.
