There are plenty of places to buy outdoor gear. So what makes Pacific Outdoor Supply different?

For founder Jason Melschau, it starts with a lifetime spent outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, climbing mountains, and sharing unforgettable adventures with friends and family.

Those experiences shaped more than his appreciation for quality products. They shaped his belief that the best adventures aren't just about where you go or what you bring. They're about the experiences you have and the stories you bring home.

That's the heart of Pacific Outdoor Supply.

More than an outdoor retailer, we're here to help you get outside, explore farther, stay longer, and make a few stories of your own.

Get to know the man behind Pacific Outdoor Supply and the story that started it all.

We’ve been quiet for a while, but we’ve been building.

Pacific Outdoor Supply comes from years spent outside, hunting, fishing, camping, climbing, exploring, and learning firsthand what matters when you’re out there. What holds up. What you can count on. And what you want with you when you’re miles from the truck and other people are counting on you.

Now, we’re ready to share more of it.

A new website. Quality products from brands we trust. A blog with stories from the field and lessons learned along the way. New places, new adventures, and the people who make them memorable.

At the heart of it all is something pretty simple: helping people spend more time outside, with products they can count on and stories that make them want to get back out there.

Welcome to the next chapter of Pacific Outdoor Supply.

There’s a lot more to come.

Was fortunate to hunt with my son on his spring break from VMI. He’ll be graduating soon and we may not have the kind of time to hunt together we are used to. Great weather and Hog hunting in San Luis Obispo County and a superb guide. Yea we are crazy here in California, but it’s also crazy country and some of the best hunting in the USA. We even caught the bloom, saw Tule Elk and Antelope. Yes, we have Antelope in California.
