City of Ladysmith has presented 8 grants totalling $198,000 to date including the $30,000 to LADS.
These grants have been matched with over $770,000 in private investment. The funding was made possible through the WEDC Small Business Development Grant Program that was awarded to the City.
The City received the maximum allowable grant of $250,000 and has $52,000 remaining to grant by December 31, 2026 to new or expanding businesses within the City for down payment, rental or renovation assistance.
